Menu 1:

Hot Dog Melts
A simple recipe inspired by Wolfgang Puck is a crowd pleaser for both adults and children.
8 – all-beef hot dogs
2 – tablespoons mayonnaise
2 – tablespoons sour cream
1 – tablespoon Dijon honey mustard
1 – tablespoon minced chives or green onions
4 – slices Gruyere or Parrano cheese, halved
1 – cup shredded cheese, a Cheddar Mozzarella combo works well

Preheat the oven to Convection 350 degrees.

Make a lengthwise slit in each of the hot dogs without cutting them all the way through. Place the hot dogs on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Combine the mayonnaise with the sour cream, mustard, chives and cheese and spread a generous amount of the filling in the center of each hot dog.

Bake for approximately twelve minutes until the cheese has melted.

The hot dogs can be served with little rolls or crostini or cut into smaller pieces and served with toothpicks.
