A kitchen with a gorgeous La Cornue range as a centerpiece makes a dramatic design statement but the remarkable array of options for creating fabulous feasts and everyday meals that a La Cornue range provides enforces this amazing combination of a custom design with cooking versatility.

LIGNE 5 ETOILES
Every range and cook top in the La Cornue 5 Star Line, is handcrafted as ordered, allowing you to customize the cooktop configuration, color and trim and also bears an emblem engraved with your name. The range cooktops feature one 20,000 BTU burner, three12, 000 BTU burners and one 13,500 BTU burner under the plaque or "french top". Options for the cooktop configuration include an electric BBQ, electric burners and an additional plaque. Each range is equipped with one gas and one electric oven.

The high BTU's so necessary for perfect results with high heat cooking combined with the simmering capabilities of the plaque make cooking a great pleasure on the La Cornue range. The rings in the solid caste iron plaque diffuse the heat providing different temperature zones for simmering, sauces, soups, stews melting chocolate and cooking grains and legumes. Because the heat is diffused soups and stews are never at risk for burning or scorching instead they are able to develop the marvelous flavors that make these dishes so comforting.

La Cornue range The ovens have a unique hearth shape that provides a natural convection, which ensures perfect results when roasting or baking. The ovens can comfortably accommodate a 28lb turkey and following the rules of Convection cooking roasts and poultry should be placed on the rack in the roasting pan that is provided, it is neither necessary to baste or turn the meat, just allow the oven to cook it to perfection! Since Convection seals in the moisture roasts are exceptionally tender and flavorful.

The electric oven is designed to help you achieve perfect results when baking or grilling because you are able to control not only the heat but also the amount of elements directing the heat. Grilling is always best at high temperatures but certain fish, vegetables and delicate fruit require less intense heat than meats or firm fleshed fish. When baking pies you can direct more heat from the bottom elements to ensure that crusts are baked through and gentle heat from the top for even browning. This ability to control the amount of heat directed to your baked goods allows you to easily manipulate the heat in the oven for even cooking, if the food is browning to quickly on the top or bottom simply reduce the amount of elements being used or turn them off altogether.
